What a fantastic evening the JPG Team had at The Crypt Factor 2026!
As always, the event brought together the very best of the North’s property and construction community for an unforgettable night of entertainment, fundraising and industry camaraderie. With a sell-out crowd of around 1,000 colleagues, peers and supporters cheering on the performers, the atmosphere was incredible from start to finish.
A special shout-out to JPG Group Technician Sam Smickersgill, who took to the stage with a brilliant rendition of Billy Ray Cyrus’ Achy Breaky Heart. It takes real courage to step out of your comfort zone and perform in front of such a large audience, and Sam certainly did JPG Group proud.
While the performances are always a highlight, the real purpose of Crypt Factor is to raise vital funds for Leeds-based charities. The event supports St George’s Crypt, which provides essential help to people experiencing homelessness and those affected by addiction, alongside the Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust, which funds a wide range of charitable projects across Yorkshire. This year was also in aid of When You Wish Upon a Star and the evening featured patron of the charity, Will Mellor, as a special guest judge.
Since launching in 2007, Crypt Factor has raised more than £1.125 million for charity – a remarkable achievement that reflects the generosity and commitment of everyone involved.
