JPG were appointed to design a new 45,000 square foot factory building for Siemens. The building has a steel portal frame with a height to eaves of 10 metres. An associated two-storey office area was also provided.
JPG were retained by the client to provide engineering services in connection with the post contract installation of various items of equipment associated with the test facility these included the installation of two new overhead and floor mounted cranes comprising of a safe working load of 50T and 25T respectively. New Swing Jib cranes, two new test beds, Press Pit and turnover device.
