French company, C G Roxane’s, first development in the UK of a £7 million spring water bottling plant.
The state-of-the-art production facility comprises a steel portal frame extension to a former WW2 aircraft hangar. Internal white wall panels were used throughout with areas of the internal slab laid to falls to drain process water, via stainless steel drainage channels and gullies.
Close co-ordination of process services was required to facilitate plant and production equipment.
Complex structural analysis of the unique aircraft hangar structure was required to allow the opening up and construction of a dispatch loading dock and ramp.
