Wilton Developments’ speculative industrial development, Latitude, has reached a key milestone with the topping out ceremony, as work progresses to deliver over 70,000 sq ft of new space.
The two-unit industrial warehouse scheme at Junction 31 of the M62, in Normanton, is being developed by Wilton Developments and delivered by CBRE Global Investors. The properties are being developed to address a chronic shortage of quality, new-build industrial and warehouse space across Yorkshire, which continues to be a challenge for occupiers in the thriving industrial sector who are seeking modern space in which to relocate or expand. The site location provides immediate access to the M62 and is in the heart of the distribution network and the quality meets all the expectations of modern space.
This development represents the 6th phase of consultancy advice for JPG on the wider business park, spanning a 20-year period, with previous phases of development undertaken for a range of business including Toyota and Haribo.
The units are being constructed by Leeds-based contractor Castlehouse Construction.
