JPG Group are thrilled to see that the steel frames are now taking shape on the second and final phase of the industrial development at Farington Park in Lancashire, marking another significant milestone for the 50-acre scheme for our client Caddick Developments.
The latest phase will deliver high-quality industrial space across four detached units, ranging from approximately 14,750 sq. ft to 33,000 sq. ft. With Caddick Construction Limited progressing well on-site, the development is taking shape as the final piece of the wider Farington Park masterplan.
This follows the successful delivery of the park’s substantial 544,000 sq. ft. first phase, completed by Caddick in 2023. The latest units are designed to respond to continued demand for mid-box industrial and logistics accommodation across the Northwest, providing flexible, modern space for businesses looking to establish or expand their operations in the region.
But Farington Park is about more than industrial development. As part of the wider scheme, the project incorporates significant investment in the surrounding environment and local amenities. This includes a seven-acre public park, improvements to public rights of way, outdoor gym facilities, and new walking routes, creating valuable opportunities for recreation and wellbeing.
The project has also included the de-culverting of a nearby river, helping to open new habitats for local wildlife and delivering a positive environmental legacy alongside the economic benefits of the development.
With the steelwork now rising, the final phase of Farington Park is becoming increasingly visible on-site — bringing the vision for this major employment destination one step closer to completion.
