This exciting project will see the demolition of the existing Northern House on Rougier Street and construction into a striking new landmark – a luxury 140-bedroom hotel complete with grill and bar. Designed to bring a new level of sophistication and hospitality to the city, the development will add to York’s vibrant urban fabric and strengthen Dakota’s reputation for exceptional guest experiences.
Our relationship with Dakota Hotels spans several years, where we have provided Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering services on previous developments in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, and most recently Manchester Airport which is due to open next year.
