Steelwork erection of the main frame continues to progress on the new cinema currently being constructed at Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Huddersfield. This complex adaption of the existing frame will add a further storey height to the building to enable auditoria to be located on the upper floor.
The cinema and leisure proposition will be operated by The Light, who already operate 12 other venues across the country. The Light will offer six state of the art cinema screens, ten bowling lanes, alongside a variety of other leisure activities. The new development will occupy the former House of Fraser Demise and be split over 3 levels.
