It’s great to see continued progress at Plot B, The Airfields, where JPG Group is providing civil and structural engineering support on the delivery of a major new industrial development.
Over the past 10 years, JPG Group has supported the wider The Airfields development, delivering enabling works including bulk earthworks, the design of adopted roads and drainage infrastructure, and the preparation of development plots.
The site now accommodates a diverse mix of residential, commercial and industrial developments, including Plot D, comprising three industrial units, for which JPG Group provided civil and structural engineering support. Works were successfully completed in September 2025.
At the heart of the development, Plot B is an 11-hectare site that will deliver seven industrial units across two phases.
Working closely with BMS Architects and Marshall Construction (West Yorkshire) Ltd., JPG Group is supporting the delivery of the project on behalf of the client, CDP.
Phase 1 commenced on site in June and includes the construction of Units 2–7, providing a combined floor area of 193,500 sq. ft, alongside:
✅ Section 38 highway works.
✅ Section 104 adoptable sewers.
✅ A foul water pumping station.
Excellent progress continues across the site, with bulk earthworks nearing completion and foundation installation now underway across the development.
Meanwhile, the steel frame for Unit 7 is rapidly taking shape, marking another significant milestone in the project’s delivery.
