Directors Gary Howarth and Chris Harding oversee the team of civil, structural and geoenvironmental engineers. Working together at JPG since 1988, they have extensive experience in the design and site monitoring of all types of construction work, from large civil engineering projects and multi occupancy sites to small and medium sized projects. The directors operate as the main point of contact for every project, ensuring close coordination between the client, design team and contractors.

Chris co-manages a strong team of Engineers and Technicians, across a wide range of disciplines and is equally comfortable assessing complex building structures, designing road and drainage infrastructure, as well as overseeing some of the more specialist services such as, traffic assessments, flood risk assessments, geo-environmental investigations or expert witness and auditing commissions. Chris has extensive experience in the design and site monitoring of all types of construction work across a wide range of sectors. Chris dedicates much of his time to site appraisals and assessments of abnormal development constraints to ensure that project difficulties are fully understood and addressed from the outset.
