College Trade Park Leeds is underway

Construction has started on site of a former Leeds further education College to transform it into a new £9m College Trade Park.

The site of the former Thomas Danby College in Leeds is being turned into an 80,000 sq ft quality trade park development on Roundhay Road in the north of the city.

The £9m scheme will be named College Trade Park and Stainforth Construction is expected to have completed the build by November 2017 working alongside the architects KPP.

Bridge Estates acquired the site in 2015 and appointed JPG to initially take a view of the site prior to purchase. JPG undertook the site investigations and monitored the demolition process. JPG have provided Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy service on this project.

Paul Crabtree from Bridge Estates said: “College Trade Park is the only speculative trade counter development currently under construction in Leeds.

“Our new gateway development benefits greatly from its strategic location on one of Leeds’ main arterial routes with the area well-established for trade counter uses.”
