Construction has completed on the first phase of a £100m distribution site near Wakefield. JPG worked alongside Caddick Developments, Caddick Construction, KPP Architects and RBA Construction Consultants to complete the 600,000 sq ft warehouse for TJX Europe.
The logistics scheme, Crosspoint33, will be home to TJX Europe, the parent company of retail brands TK Maxx and HomeSense.
More than 1.2 million sq ft of space has been developed for the retailer – the largest the company owns in Europe.
Phase two has outline planning consent and can accommodate up to a further 600,000 sq ft of development on a build to suit basis.
Caddick Developments Ltd, with sister company Caddick Construction have undertaken the project. Once fully operational, it will provide up to 1,800 local jobs.
